Morgan Stanley to launch third infrastructure fund

Morgan Stanley Investment Management's infrastructure team is set to start fundraising for its third infrastructure fund. 

The North Haven Infrastructure Partners (NHIP) III will third infrastructure fund of Morgan Stanley following the success of the existing funds - North Haven Infrastructure Partners I and II. 

The company is expected to raise more than the US$3.6 billion-capital of the second infrastructure fund closed in 2016. Morgan Stanley has remained active in its investments in telecommunications towers in Portugal as well as midstream assets in the Delaware Basin, an oil and gas region that straddles West Texas and New Mexico.
