Sacyr has accepted a formal offer from Morgan Stanley Infrastructure Partners (MSIP) for Valoriza Servicios Medioambientales (VSM).
The transaction, valued at EUR 734 million (US$788.83 million), encompasses both debt and equity. The equity portion of the deal is estimated at around EUR 425 million (US$457 million), resulting in a capital gain of EUR 270 million (US$290 million) for Sacyr. VCM specializes in various waste management services, including waste collection, treatment, and recycling. The proceeds from the sale will be utilized by the company to accelerate the expansion of its concession infrastructure projects.
