The Ministry of Public Works and Communications (MOPC) in Paraguay has announced the rehabilitation of the San Cristóbal - Naranjal road on Route 6 in Paraguay.
The project will be undertaken under the turnkey public-private partnership (PPP). The road works will include: two lanes of 7 m total width, shoulders of 2.5 m on both sides, two docks for weight control, a new bridge near the town of Sto, Sunday and passing lanes or third lanes for trucks on hills. Additionally, the road will have illuminated intersections and roundabouts at the main crossroads, exclusive turning lanes, separators, 2.8 km of bike lanes, access to communities, as well as adaptation and expansion of drainage.
