The Ministry of Public Works and Communications (MOPC) of Paraguay has announced the plans for the PY01 road between Cuatro Mojones and Quiindy.
The PPP project will cover 108 km and will include the improvements from Cuatro Mojones to Ytororó (South Access section) as well as the doubling of the road from Ytororó to Quiindy. With an estimated investment of US$350 million, the project will be tendered at the end of 2022.
The Inter-American Development Bank (IDB) is a technical advisor of the project. The feasibility studies have already commenced since June 2021, expected to last 18 months.
