The Ministry of Public Works and Communications (MOPC) in Paraguay has inaugurated section 2 of San Cristóbal - Naranjal road on Route 6 in Paraguay.
The Section 2 is a 7.7 km, US$6.8 million stretch of the US$45 million turnkey contract. The company in charge of the project is Concret-Mix y 8A consortium. The work is divided into five sections, of which two have already been completed.
According to MOPC, the next to be completed are 1 and 5. The 5.3 km section 1 involves US$6.7 million and is expected to be completed next month; while section 5, which will be 11.9km long, with a budget of US$8.9 million, should be ready by November. The entire project is expected to be finished by May 2019.
