Michigan launches tender for two bridges in Bay City

The transportation commissioners in Michigan has launched a request for proposal (RFP) for the replacement, renovation, operations and maintenance of two bridges under a public-private partnership. 

A mandatory pre-proposal conference is set for March 26 and responses are due by May 8.

Advisory firm OHM previously submitted a recommendation to replace the Independence Bridge and remove the Liberty Bridge for roughly US$107m.
