Miami-Dade County launched tender seeking construction services

Miami-Dade County has issued a tender notice seeking a general contractor to provide construction services for Miami International Airport (MIA) in Miami, Florida, USA.

The selected contractor shall provide construction services including, but not limited to project management, onsite supervision, labor, material, tools, equipment, trade subcontractors, licenses, permit, overhead, profit, etc. The scope of the contract involves:

  • Demolition and removal of existing stucco surfaces and application of new stucco and paint at E Satellite, Lower Concourse E buildings;
  • Installation of new Lightning Protection System at E Satellite, Lower Concourse E buildings;
  • Providing structural connection, power and data raceways for the installation of the Advanced Visual Docking Guidance System (AVDGS);
  • Providing power and data raceways for rooftop cameras, E Satellite, Lower Concourse E and DE Connector;
  • Removal of numerous existing interior doors at E Satellite and Lower Concourse E buildings and replacement with new doors; including new hardware, access control (card readers), and cameras.
