Mexico to provide funds for USD478.68 million rail line PPP project 

Periférico Sur, Adolf B. Horn, Concepcion del Valle, San Sebastian, La Fortuna, Centro Universitario, Tlajomulco Centro and Las Juntas. The light rail line is expected to provide services to 200,000 people per day.

In May 2022, President López Obrador pledged to invest US$400 million in Line 4 and the El Zapotillo storage dam. He signed a letter of promise stating that the light rail project would cost roughly US$100 million and that the funds would be funneled through the National Fund for Infrastructure (FONADIN).

    Fondo Nacional de Fomento al Turismo (Fonatur) in Mexico has received 16 bids from companies for the third section of Maya train PPP project. The third section of Maya train includes the development of 172 kilometers long railway line connecting Calkiní, Campeche, Izamal, and Yucatán.
