Mexico city international airport terminal 3 project cancelled

El International Airport of Mexico City (AICM) in Mexico has canceled the call for a public tender for the executive project for building and operation of terminal 3 of Mexico city international airport. The reason for cancellation is the limited scope of work.

The concession included the building of platform with contact positions, taxiways, parking, connection bridges, fuel supply facilities, turbo pipelines, and complimentary services and buildings. The terminal was supposed to occupy an area of 320,635 square meters and have 17 contact positions for the aircraft. The intention of the concession was to improve the experience of travelers during their stay in boarding and disembarkation rooms.
