Market meetings announced for Camp Nieuw-Milligen redevelopment PPP project in Gelderland

Rijksvastgoedbedrijf (Central Government Real Estate Agency) in the Netherlands has announced two market meetings on April 19 and 22, 2022 for the redevelopment of Camp Nieuw-Milligen located near Uddel in Gelderland.

The meeting's agenda is to discuss a tender process for the barracks for the Marine Corp, cooperation between government and market parties, and risk distribution. The PPP project will be procured under Design, Build, Finance, Maintain and Operate (DBFOM) model with a concession period of 25 years. The selected private partner will be responsible for the development of new energy-neutral housing for 2,130 marines working at the barracks as well as medical care facilities, a company restaurant, indoor sports areas, a logistics center, and office and teaching areas. The outdoor space will include parking spaces, parking areas for military wheeled and tracked vehicles, sports facilities, and training facilities for the marines.

Once complete, the camp will have a gross floor area of approximately 120,000 square meters with an area of ​​buildings including the floors and interior and exterior walls.
