The governments of Malaysia and Singapore have agreed to again suspend the development of Johor Bahru-Singapore Cross-Border Rapid Transit System project.
In a joint statement, it was announced that the two countries will suspend the project until September 30, 2019 with the Malaysian Government bearing the abortive costs of suspending the project, which amounts to some US$600,000. The suspension will also allow both countries to renegotiate changes in the project schemes.
