Macquarie is in discussion to acquire data center company AirTrunk. AirTrunk operates data centers in Sydney, Melbourne in Australia and Singapore and has announced plans to open a facility in Hong Kong in 2020. Macquarie Infrastructure and Real Assets (MIRA) has submitted bids for the acquisition.
AirTrunk is owned by Goldman Sachs Group Inc. and TPG Sixth Street Partners, known as TSSP.
