Macquarie secures US$4bn first close for MIP V fund

Macquarie Infrastructure & Real Assets (MIRA) has secured a total of US$4 billion commitment for its fifth infrastructure fund, Macquarie Infrastructure Partners V LP.

The fund, launched in mid-2020, will focus on infrastructure projects in North America. It is targeting to achieve a net internal rate of returns in the range of 10% to 12%. 

MIRA is part of the asset management unit of Macquarie Group, Macquarie Asset Management (MAM).
