Macquarie prepares sale of Hobart Airport stake

Macquarie Group is preparing to sell its controlling stakes in Hobart International Airport located in Cambridge, Tasmania. The facility has a current capacity of 2.4 million passengers annually. It is being maintained by Tasmanian Gateway Consortium, of which the 50.1% stake is owned by Macquarie Global Infrastructure Fund. 

Macquarie could soon appoint advisers to prepare the disposal of its equity stake in the project.
