Macquarie Infrastructure Debt Investment Solutions (MIDIS) has agreed a GBP150 million (~US$190 million) funding package for Alliance Homes Group to support the development of 1,000 new homes in North Somerset and the West of England.
Alongside this funding, Alliance Homes hopes that increasing government grant to the sector will also support the delivery of new housing. The company is targeting areas that suffer from housing shortages and increasing rents.
Since 2017 Alliance Homes has completed 190 homes across North Somerset, South Gloucestershire, and Bristol, and has a further 123 on site with a growing pipeline to support future developments.
MIDIS has attributed its investment in the company to its focus on their customers, through maintaining high standards for their housing stock and providing support services to their communities, which include care facilities and formal programs to support customers back into employment.
