Macquarie Capital’s Infrastructure has completed the acquisition of majority shareholding in Voneus. This follows an initial investment in August 2019 and will support Voneus’ growth and the launch of roll-out fiber activity across rural areas of the UK.

The initial funding provided by Macquarie Capital has helped to strengthen Voneus’ management team and has enabled them to prepare for the move to fiber.

In addition, Macquarie Capital has also added the Israel Infrastructure Fund (IIF) to the investment consortium, as the IIF has the expertise to support Voneus' future deployment of fibre in the UK.
