LSEP to increase capacity for Lostock EfW plant in UK

Lostock Sustainable Energy Plant Ltd (LSEP), the owner of the Waste to Energy (EfW) plant being developed at Lostock in Cheshire, has announced intentions to increase the capacity of the plant by 128,000 tonnes of waste a year. If the planning is approved the plant will have the capacity to process 728,000 tonnes of residual waste and produce 69.9MW of electricity per year.

The plant is currently under construction, once the construction is completed FCC Environment will take over the operations.
