London CIV launches renewable fund of funds

London CIV has launched an open-ended fund of funds focused on renewable energy generation, transmission, and distribution. The LCIV Renewable Infrastructure Fund will invest in both greenfield and brownfield projects.

The fund has received commitments of GBP435 million (US$602 million) from funds managed by BlackRock, Foresight Group, Quinbrook Infrastructure Partners, and Stonepeak Global Renewables Advisor. London CIV expects to raise further GBP 300 million (US$ 416.97 million) from six more funds.
