Liu Hong, the Vice-president of China Road and Bridge Corporation (CRBC) has stated publicly that the company studied the project a few years ago and delivered a report on the study to the Cambodian government, in which CRBC requested a BOT framework. The company are currently in talks with China’s Export-Import Bank regarding a loan for the project.
