The government of Lithuania's Ministry of National Defense plans to develop three new military facilities through public-private partnerships (PPPs). The investment in the project will be around EUR90 million (US$103.6 million).
The military facilities will be equipped with barracks, canteens, welfare, medica and equipment maintenance facilities and will be located in the districts of Šiauliai, Šilalė and Vilnius.
For all three facilities, tender process will be announced in early 2019 and commissioned in fourth quarter of 2020. A public consultation conference is planned to be held by the Ministry of National Defense to introduce the project.
