Limassol port marks 4 years of successful operations

DP World has completed 4 years of successful operations at the Limassol port in Cyprus.

During the initial 4 years of its 25-year concession, the company achieved remarkable success in commercializing Limassol port. As a result, there has been a significant increase in government revenue from the port's operations. Within this period, the company handled over 250 cruise ships, accommodating more than 400,000 passengers. Furthermore, in the transit trade segment, the company processed over 3,500 commercial vessels, handling a cargo volume exceeding 3 million tonnes. Limassol Multipurpose Terminal Fact Sheet:

  • Terminal Facilities: Includes open yards and covered warehouses spanning 18,000 m2
  • Quays Length: Total of 1,600 m, with 3 quays having over 430 m in length

  • Cruise Terminal Facilities: Features a brand new cruise terminal spanning 7,000 m2 with modern check-ins, luggage handling, waiting zones, and available parking area for 300 cars (including disabled parking) and bus services.
