Legal advisors sought by UK Government for infra projects

Crown Commercial Service (CCS) in the UK has published a prior information notice (PIN) to establish an agreement for legal advice services to be utilized by UK Central Government Departments, and other public sector bodies to be identified in the contract notice. The agreement will be the recommended vehicle for all legal services in respect of a number of general specialisms, finance specialisms, and complex projects, required by UK Central Government Departments. It will replace the current General Legal Advice Services and Finance and Complex Legal Advice Service frameworks of the UK Government.

The authority will seek consultants in two lots:

  1. General Legal Services
  2. Financial and Complex Legal Services

The advisers will provide legal services in areas of public law, competition law, EU law, contracts, construction, corporate, information law including data protection, dispute resolution, employment, environment, franchising, health and safety, information technology, intellectual property, litigation, non-complex finance, outsourcing, partnership, pensions, planning, projects/PFI/PPP, public procurement, real estate/estate finance, restructuring/insolvency, and tax.
