Trent University has entered into a land lease with Residence Development Corporation (RDC) to build and operate a new building with approximately 215 beds for upper-year students on Trent lands near the Symons Campus in Peterborough, Ontario, Canada.

RDC will oversee the construction and operation of this development, offering additional housing choices near the Symons Campus for upper-year students. The project includes the construction and operation of a three-storey townhouse-style building with around 215 beds dedicated to upper-year Trent students. Furthermore, there are plans for a comprehensive renovation and expansion of Otonabee College, which will add over 700 new beds to the current residence spaces available at the University. Additionally, the University-Integrated Seniors Village will feature a not-for-profit long-term care home with 224 beds, and it is expected to commence construction in 2024.
