The state government of Lagos has approved the development of unified fibre duct infrastructure for carrying telecommunications cables and other wired infrastructure in Lagos. The infrastructure will support operators of telecommunications and provide infra and connectivity requirements for the state.
The project will be procured on the Public-Private Partnership model with a concession period of 25 years. The concession period can be extended if all stakeholders approve the decision.
