Los Angeles County Employees Retirement Association (LACERA) has made a US$600 million commitment to an open-ended global infrastructure Macquarie Global Infrastructure Debt Fund, which is managed by Macquarie Asset Management.
Macquarie Global Infrastructure Debt Fund is launched by Macquarie Global Partners. The fund's pool of investments includes transport, utilities, and energy infrastructure (solar, onshore and offshore wind sectors). The fund has invested in the United Kingdom, Europe, the United States and Australia.
The US$72.6 billion pension fund also approved US$50 million to co-invest alongside the DIF Core Infrastructure Fund (CIF) III and DIF Infrastructure VI (DIF VI) funds managed by DIF Capital Partners.
