Kayne Anderson Capital Advisors launches renewable energy infrastructure fund

Kayne Anderson Capital Advisors LP has launched an open-ended mutual fund that seeks to invest in renewable energy infrastructure sectors. 

The Kayne Anderson Renewable Infrastructure Fund, or KARIX, will target investment for companies that develop, build, own, and operate renewable energy infrastructure projects such as wind farms, solar parks, and energy storage. 

The Fund seeks to achieve an attractive risk-adjusted total return by investing in renewable infrastructure companies that are less volatile and less correlated with the broader markets,
