The Land Transport Authority of Singapore has awarded a US$302 million design consultant contract for the construction of the Tavistock Station and the associated tunnels in Singapore.
The Tavistock Station is a part of Phase 1 of the Cross Island Line PPP project. Under the agreement, Jacob will be responsible for the design and construction of the underground station, as well as bored tunnels, a launching shaft for tunnel boring machines and the related building services.
Phase 1 of the project includes 12 stations, including Tavistock station that will serve residential and industrial areas in Loyang, Tampines and Pasir Ris.
