The Isle of Wight Council has launched a tender for the development of a mixed-use scheme on the site of the former Sandham Middle School, in Sandown, Isle of Wight.
It is proposed that in partnership with a development partner, the scheme will comprise of extra care housing with additional bungalows, community hub and nursery. It is anticipated that a minimum of 75 extra care flats and 12 bungalows will be provided. The Council is seeking a development partner who can bring expertise in the development, funding, and operation of such a scheme.
The deadline for the submission of documents to participate in the tender is on October 9, 2019.
