Interconección Eléctrica SAESP (ISA) has signed two concession contracts with The Ministry of Energy and Mines of Peru for two PPP projects- 220/60 kV Chincha Nueva Substation and Nazca Nueva 220/60 kV Substation. The contracts oblige the company to design, finance, construct, operate, and maintain these projects. 

The 220/60 kV Chincha Nueva Substation PPP project will meet the growing demand for electricity and the operational needs of the electricity system in the province of Chincha. While the 220/60 kV Nazca Nueva Substation project will improve the quality of the power supply in Nazca and Nazca Rural Electrical Systems.

The term of each concession is 30 years, and the construction period is estimated to be 30 months.
