Iren Energia to acquire two solar parks in Italy

Iren Energia has entered into an agreement to acquire two solar parks located in Troia and Palo (Italy) from European Energy. 

The 103 MW Troia solar park has more than 275,000 solar panel modules in an area of 1.5 million sqm. The solar park at Palo has the capacity to produce 18.5 MW of electricity. The total energy capacity of both parks will be 121.5 MW. 

The transaction is expected to be closed during the first quarter of 2022. Its value will be EUR166 million (US$189.51 million).
