Ireland tenders water treatment plant DBO

Ervia, a multi-utility state-owned company, has launched a tender process for the development of a new drinking water treatment plant in Ireland.

The project will be developed under the PPP model. The contract consists of the design, construction, commissioning, testing, operation and maintenance of the water treatment plant and associated pipelines together with intake works, site and ancillary works.

The plant will have a total capacity of 8600 m3/d and will be composed of the following parts:

  • New Intake and Pumping Station on the River Clodiagh at Rathkennan.
  • New Raw Water Rising Main from the River Clodiagh Pumping Station
  • New Water Treatment Plant at Killeenyarda, Holycross.

Interested parties must submit their request to participate on or before 16 February 2016.

Ervia, previously known as Bord Gáis or Bord Gáis Éireann, is a multi-utility company distributing pipeline natural gas, water services and dark fiber services in Ireland. The state-owned company has built an extensive network across Ireland.
