IRB Infrastructure begins construction for NH-19 Palsit to Dankuni Highway PPP project in West Bengal

Palsit Dankuni Tollway Pvt. Ltd., a Special Purpose Vehicle (SPV) of IRB Infrastructure Developers Ltd., has received an Appointed Date from the National Highway Authority of India (NHAI) for its NH-19 BOT project in West Bengal.

The company has commenced tolling and construction for the project with effect on 2nd April 2022. The project will be executed by IRB Infra and its associate IRB Infrastructure Trust. It will continue to collect tolls for the concession period of 17 years. 

The INR24.03 billion (US$316.5 million) project involves the development of a 63.83 km stretch with 4-6 lanes of NH-19 between Palsit and Dankuni in West Bengal.
