Industrial Estate Authority of Thailand (IEAT) is inviting potential investors to invest in the development of third phase of Map Ta Phut deep sea port. IEAT will present the terms of references to the interested companies by the end of 2021. The project involves the construction of new ship docks with a capacity to handle 4 million tonnes of cargo.
The authority expects to sign the contract with an investor before October 2022. The project is scheduled to begin construction in 2024 and become operational by 2026.
