The Cao Bang Province government has selected investors to implement the first phase of the Dong Dang-Tra Linh Expressway project connecting Lang Son and Cao Bang provinces in northern Vietnam.
The alliance comprises Deo Ca Group, ICV Vietnam Investment and Construction JSC, Deo Ca Transport Infrastructure Investment JSC (HHV), and 568 Construction JSC. The initial stage of the project, with a total investment of VND 14.17 trillion (US$583.63 million), will be executed under the public-private partnership (PPP) model.
Phase 1 of the Dong Dang-Tra Linh Expressway spans 93.35 km, commencing at the Tan Thanh border gate intersection in Van Lang district, Lang Son province, and concluding at the junction with National Highway 3 in Chi Thao commune, Quang Hoa district, Cao Bang province. Anticipated to be finalized by 2026, the expressway's initial phase will facilitate vehicles with a maximum speed limit of 80 km/h.
