The Asian Development Bank (ADB) has signed a US$25 million equity investment in Exacta Asia Investment III LP, a private equity fund managed by the Singapore headquartered investment firm Exacta.
The Exacta Asia Investment III LP fund aims to offer capital for the expansion of middle-market companies in Southeast Asia. These companies operate in sectors such as healthcare, financial services, education, manufacturing, business services, and consumer goods. The fund's focus is on investing in companies that provide high-quality products and services in underserved markets, contributing to their growth and development. This investment represents the Asian Development Bank's second commitment to Exacta, as part of their efforts to address the relatively low presence of private equity in the region. Encouraging private equity investments is considered vital for job creation, economic growth, and attracting further investments in the region.
