The Hellenic Republic Asset Development Fund (HRADF) has decided to terminate the international tender process for the sale of HRADF’s shares amounting to 30% in the share capital of Athens International Airport SA (AIA) in Greece.
The tender proceedings, initiated in June 2019, were halted due to the repercussions of the COVID-19 pandemic crisis on the global aviation markets. Presently, HRADF aims to support the continued growth of AIA by publicly listing all its shares on the Athens Stock Exchange. This listing will coincide with the divestiture of HRADF's existing shares, constituting 30% of AIA's shares (equivalent to 90,000,000 shares), through a combined offering to both domestic and international investors.
