Colombia’s national infrastructure agency (ANI) has released the list of interested parties for the La Dorada-Chiriguaná railway rehabilitation concession project.
After evaluating proposals from eight interested consortiums, the ANI will proceed with the awarding of Public Works contracts, including design, intervention at vulnerable points, emergency care, and surveillance for the entire corridor. The Financiera de Desarrollo Nacional (FDN), with the ANI's support, is currently structuring a Public-Private Partnership for this project. It is anticipated that the corridor will be operational by the first half of 2024.
