Interconexión Eléctrica S.A. has announced the acquisition of Costera Cartagena Barranquilla 4G toll road in Colombia.

The Cartagena Barranquilla Coastal road project covers 146km of roads that connect the two main cities of the Caribbean with a 110-kilometer corridor and covers a second section called Circunvalar de la Prosperidad, between Malambo and Barranquilla, 36 kilometers of the dual carriageway. The scope of the project includes design, construction, financing, operation, and improvement of the corridor with a concession period of 25 years.
