The executive director of PROINVERSIÓN, José Salardi, and the regional governor of Áncash, Koki Noriega have signed the inter-institutional agreement for the preparation of pre-investment studies and the supervision of said studies of the Chinecas irrigation project in Peru.

The agreement establishes that if the project is suitable for execution through a Public-Private Partnership (PPP) scheme, PROINVERSIÓN will handle the structuring and transaction phases of the project until it is awarded. 

The agreement includes provisions for the Regional Government and the Chinecas Project to ensure that the land required for the project is available and free from occupants and charges that may hinder its use. This includes the cleanup and custody of existing land, as well as any additional land that may be required for the project.
