International Public Partnerships Limited (INPP) has agreed to acquire a small portfolio of UK PPP investments consisting of initial interests in Townlands Community Hospital in Henley and Eltham Community Hospital, and minority interests in the Building Schools for the Future (BSF) projects STaG 1 and 2.
The interests will be acquired from Amber Infrastructure (Amber) for GBP3.1 million (US$4.15 million). INPP will acquire a 49.8% interest in the subordinated debt of the Eltham Community Hospital project located in the London Borough of Greenwich. The company will acquire a 100% interest in the equity and subordinated debt of the Townlands Community Hospital project based in Henley-on-Thames. The last project of this portfolio is STAG, which includes education facilities in South Shields and Jarrow. INPP will acquire an 8.00% interest in the project's subordinated debt and a 4.36% interest in the equity.
The company plans to announce investment in minority interests in a further five BSF schemes from the same portfolio. It will represent up to GBP3.0 million (US$4 million) of additional investment.
Equitix and EQUANS (a subsidiary of Engie), the concessionaire for the Prichatts Park Student Village, have achieved financial close for the project.
