InfraVia completes purchase of majority stakes of Celeste

InfraVia Capital Partners has completed the purchase of the majority stakes in the French B2B operator Celeste. The company has acquired a 75% stakes in Celeste for a total consideration of about EUR143 million (US$162.38 million).

Celeste provides French businesses with dedicated fibre connections over its own MPLS network. It has started its own own infrastructure in 2011 and has deployed a backbone network with a capacity of 40 Gbps covering the main metropolitan areas of France. It has a workforce of 100 employees and supports 3,500 companies and local authorities.
