Infratil has announced a commitment to acquire a 40% stake in Kao Data. The transaction is valued at GBP130 million (US$177.16 million). Infratil will obtain a 40% stake alongside current owners, Legal & General Group and Noé Group.

Kao Data owns a 15-acre data center campus in Harlow, located in the UK Innovation Corridor between London and Cambridge. Kao has built one data center on that campus, with the construction of a second to begin this financial year. Once fully developed, the campus will be home to four energy-efficient data centers, all powered by 100% renewable energy.
