4 laning of Lucknow Sultanpur section from Km 11.500 to Km 134.700 on NH-56
The Cabinet Committee on Infrastructure approved yesterday the implementation of the project of four laning of Lucknow Sultanpur section from Km 11.500 to Km 134.700 (total 125.900 km) on NH-56 in Uttar Pradesh under NHDP Phase-IV A to be executed in BOT (Toll) mode on DBFOT basis. The total cost of the project will Rs.1092.60 crore ($219 million).
The main object of the project is to expedite the improvement of infrastructure in the State of Uttar Pradesh and also in reducing the time and cost of travel for traffic, particularly heavy traffic, plying between Lucknow and Sultanpur.
Malabar Ports wins the PPP contract for Ponnani Port
Malabar Ports won the contract through 'Swiss Challenge' method, which was also adopted for the first time in the State to identify the private investor in a PPP project.
Investment: Rs 763 crore ($152 million)
Length of the contract: 30 years
GVK Transportation receives the letter of award for Shivpuri-Dewas Section of NH 3
Annuity: NHAI will receive Rs 190 crore ($14 million) premium per annum
Investment: Rs 2,815 crore ($634 million)
Length: 230 Km
GMR Infrastructure receives the letter of award of the Six laning of Kishangarh Udaipur Ahmedabad
InfraPPP announced on July 30th that GMR Infrastructure was the best bidder for the contract. The award it is already official for the second mega road project.. Six laning of Kishangarh Udaipur Ahmedabad section of NH 79A, NH79, NH 76 and NH 8 on BOT (Toll) in Rajasthan and Gujarat.
