REC Power Development (REC), a public-owned company, has handed over SPV responsible for the development of 1 GW capacity renewable energy plants to IndiGrid 1 and IndiGrid 2. Both companies are subsidiaries of IndiGrid.
IndiGrid will now assume responsibilities for development of renewable energy plants in Osmanabad district in Maharastra as well as construction of 400/220 kV Sub-station at Kallam and 400 kV LILO double circuit power transmission line from Parli to Pune. The project works are expected to be finished within 18 months.
