The National Highways Authority of India (NHAI) has signed a concession contract for highway section NH-150C connecting Badadal to Maradgi with PNC Infratech Limited. The project is part of Bharatmala Pariyojna and is being procured under the Hybrid Annuity model.
Akkalkot Highways Private Limited, a special purpose vehicle established by PNC Infratech, will be responsible for the development of a 71 km long section of highway with controlled access six-lane carriageway. The contract is valued at INR15.75 billion (US$202.87 million). The construction works are scheduled to be finished within 30 months. The concession period for the project is 15 years.
