India extends tender bid for BPCL privitization anew

The Ministry of Finance of India has extended the deadline for the submission of bids for the launches expression of interests (EOI) tender for the privatization of the Bharat Petroleum Corporation (BPCL) considering the global situation caused by COVID-19 pandemic. 

The privatization involves the sale of 52.98% stakes or about 1,149,183,592 equity shares in BPCL. 

The submissions of EOIs is extended until September 30, 2020.
