The City of Lake Oswego has signed an Interim Intergovernmental Agreement with the city of Portland for the replacement of Tryon Creek Wastewater Treatment. The authority also directed staff to issue Request for Proposals (RFP) to the interested teams EPCOR, Foothills Water, LLC, and NW Natural. The council also authorized financing of US$ 450,000 for consulting services to float the RFP to the three teams.
The RFP is expected to be released in mid-October 2020 and the companies will submit their proposals until January 2021.
The project involves the design, construction, financing, operation, and maintenance of the new wastewater treatment facility in the Foothills area of the City of Lake Oswego in Clackamas County, Oregon. The facility would replace the existing Tryon Creek wastewater treatment plant, constructed in 1964.
