The World Bank through the International Finance Corporation (IFC) is in the process of procuring technical and legal consultancy services for the Deyang water project.
IFC has been mandated by Jingyang District Bureau of Housing and Urban-Rural Development to provide transaction advisory services for the project, which is proposed to include the operation, maintenance and rehabilitation of the existing water and sanitation services provided by the Deyang District Government, as well as the development of greenfield assets for sewage treatment, water supply, pipe networks, water source protection, and a cloud IT platform.
Deyang City is located in the northeast edge of the Chengdu Plain in Sichuan Province, China. Jingyang is the main district of the city.
IFC intends to hire a team of technical and legal consultants to provide specialized inputs for the project. The project implementation is expected to be completed between 10 to 12 months, including both project structuring and the tender process.
