IFC seeks technical advisor for Deyang water PPP project in Jingyang

The International Finance Corporation (IFC), a unit of World Bank, has launched a tender for interested firms to provide technical consultancy services for the Deyang Water and Sanitation project in Jingyang, China. 

The project will be composed of a total of nineteen (19) sewage plants/stations, with a combined capacity of 15,100 m3 /day. The new and/or upgraded sewage plants/stations are designed to meet strict effluent discharge standard, a pipe network of about 2,885 km in total, including: 475 km (250 km existing) of rain and sewage pipe network and 2,410 km (existing 2251 Km) of water supply network, 15 drinking water source protection projects, and a cloud platform project (including 55 sets of equipment. 

IFC is procuring a consultancy firm with technical and financial expertise to assist in preparing the Two Evaluations and One Plan (Value for Money Evaluation, Financial Affordability Demonstration, PPP Project implementation Plan) to obtain government approval for this PPP project. The Consultant will be hired and supervised by IFCs transaction advisory service Public Private Partnership. The Consultant shall owe its duty of care exclusively to IFC. All correspondences and interface with the client government and its representatives will be done with the expressed consent of IFC. The consulting services contracts will be output based on milestone payments paid upon the clients and IFCs acceptance of the deliverable. 

The deadline for the submission of the documents is on March 21, 2019.
