International Finance Corporation (IFC) has published three requests for expression of interest (RFEOI), looking for several advisors in the field of legal, environmental & social, and technical consultancy for the Bus Rapid Transit (BRT) PPP project in Douala, Cameroon.
The government of Cameroon (GoC) has appointed IFC as a transaction advisor for the project, which will be developed on a 28 km corridor with feeder systems. The aim is to address urban mobility challenges in Douala. IFC requires the services of qualified advisors to assist in the structuring of the transaction and to competitively attract a private operator to finance the bus fleet, operate and maintain a BRT under a public-private partnership (PPP) scheme.
